I definitely noticed
a significant increase in my business activities after I added the last fountain
by the entrance window and placed the gourd shaped vase in the entry. Since
then, my business took off. I am very grateful. Now, I am looking for another
place and when I find something I like, I want you to check it out to see if it
is good for me!

This is my way of
passing along a good tip to anyone who wants to make sure their business space
or home environment is conducive to health, wealth, love and happiness. Feng
Shui, the ancient art of placement, is the answer.
The secret is to find
a Feng Shui practitioner who is good at it. Milan is one such person. She Feng
Shui-ed my home two years ago, spending hours traipsing around the inner and
outer landscape with her compass and measuring tape to map out the perfect areas
for furniture placement, sleeping, office workspace and family room. She advised
me on optimal colors and gave me great advice about how to avoid the hazardous
electrical fields around my apartment. (I live next to an electrical utility
substation); she also told me where to put water to attract good energy or place
metal to diffuse negative vibes.
I cannot explain what
she did, but it’s been a good thing. By sleeping where she suggested, I drew
romance into my life and my business success has increased tremendously. I’d
formerly worked with another “compass school” Feng Shui consultant who put in me
the wrong part of my bedroom and I suffered the consequences with poor health
and business for almost two years. Had Milan not come along with a more minutely
detailed approach, I would never have known the difference!
Milan is thorough and
professional, and I highly recommend her as a Feng Shui
consultant.

For years, the
Carriage House apartments would be vacant two months at a time. Now, the
apartment rentals are filled with good tenants on the very same day they are
advertised.

When our house had
been on the market for over three months and hadn't attracted any serious
interest- let alone an offer, another Realtor suggested we consider having a
Feng Shui analysis completed. That realtor highly recommended Milan to perform
the work based on her knowledge of Milan's successful involvement in properties
for sale that had previously
not sold. As part of
our reevaluation of the marketing of our house, we also retained Milan and
implemented many of her recommendations.
After that
experience, I firmly believe that Feng Shui should be strongly considered by
both sellers and buyers of real estate to ensure that the optimum outcome and
living experience is attained. I believe that Feng Shui played a significant
role in the thinking behind the remarketing of our house and I can't imagine
purchasing another property without having Milan evaluate its Feng Shui. Milan
approached our situation in a very serious, dedicated manner and commitment that
I clearly believe distinguishes her in the field.

In the two homes in
which we’ve resided, we’ve had the benefit of 6 different FENG SHUI
practitioners, employing two distinct styles of FENG SHUI, Black Hat and
Compass.
For our second home,
we brought in a “compass” practitioner with a great reputation who had taught
other practitioners. He took compass readings, created grids of the house and
told us what were strong/weak areas based on his tradition’s balancing of the
five elements (earth, fire, water, air, wood) in a house. He wanted more water
inside the house in the form of large aquariums (which were not a possibility
since we were absolutely not going to bring lots of moisture inside and risk
creating mold which had been a major health problem in the previous house).
Instead, we settled on large circulating water troughs outside the house. Though
this “trough” idea took some convincing, my wife immediately felt a difference
in the house -- it didn’t feel so “dry” to her. Things seemed to flow better
between us.
Among other
adjustments, he also suggested I switch my in-home office with my son’s bedroom
to improve my career, but we resisted this as we were hesitant to place our
young son in harm’s way in a room (my office) that had a fair amount of negative
energy.
Later, we learned of
Milan and had her consult. She immediately had us move one of the troughs -- as
you’re never supposed to put water in the west outside the house. My wife felt
relieved (which surprised her, as she ascetically like the trough’s original
placement).
Milan also wanted to
switch my office with my son’s bedroom. We were still hesitant, but Milan had a
number of suggestions to improve the room for our son (windless wind chimes that
move electronically, a metal fountain which would not require a vast amount of
water/moisture, metal weights, plus a long copper sheet mounted by the doorway).
We made the adjustments and the move.
The room felt much
better and our son has thrived in it, I like my new office space much better,
feeling more creative and optimistic.
Milan considered a
lot of factors when consulting us. She made choices not simply based on her
readings, but also based on us - from information gained from her study of Four
Pillars, which accurately describes a person’s traits and their strengths and
weaknesses.
All in all, we felt
the compass method employing the five elemental forces yielded a much more
tangible result. We felt Milan was by far the most thorough, most thoughtful and
insightful, as well as the best at answering questions.
